Welcome Readers!
English Language Teaching has become an integral subject for teachers to educate people for the people's holistic development. Nowadays, English is used for showcasing confidence and creating a good impact in a professional environment. But learning English is something more than that.
Here's a small blog post about my preparation for a digital portfolio and my experience of working on my presentations.
"If you are failing to plan, you're planning to fail."
This famous quote by Benjamin Franklin encourages me to schedule and organize everything around me. I used to plan and draft several tasks, and thinking activities assigned by our teacher Prof. Dr. Dilip Barad. This assignment was quickly scheduled in the form of an experience-sharing post to highlight the key aspects of my digital portfolio.
What is a Digital Portfolio?
A Digital Portfolio is an online record of all the activities and works done by a student throughout the academic years. Bachelor's and Master's degree courses are not just for academic progress. They also serve the purpose of multi-faceted development of a student, including personality development, cognitive and critical thinking development, shaping social interactions, making presentations of one's own work, explaining the ideas of studies in simple words for people in general, and so on...
Portfolios are the digital showcases. They are the result and the outcome of the new methods applied in the teaching-learning process, such as Blended learning and Flipped Learning. By preparing the digital portfolio, learners also reflect on the pedagogical changes from their part in the teaching-learning process.
The following is a link to my portfolio.
