Rohit Vyas


Rohit is currently serving as a Visiting Lecturer of English at Government Arts and Commerce College, Ghogha, District Bhavnagar. He qualified for the Gujarat State Eligibility Test (GSET) in 2025. He has previously worked as an Assistant Professor at KPES College, Bhavnagar, and Parul Institute of Technology, Parul University, Vadodara. His teaching experience also includes assignments as a Visiting Faculty at Maharani Shree Nandkuverba Mahila Arts College and Shree Maruti Vidyamandir Group of Colleges, Bhavnagar.

With this diverse academic exposure, he has taught students across multiple disciplines and levels. His teaching portfolio includes English Language and Literature for B.A. and M.A. programmes; English Grammar and Composition for B.Tech. engineering students; and courses such as English and Business Communication, Leadership Skills, and Management of Self and Career for students of B.Com., M.Com. BBA, and PGDBM.

He is currently pursuing a PhD in English at Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University, Junagadh. He completed his Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from the Department of English, Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University in August 2021. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from Samaldas Arts College, Bhavnagar.

His academic interests encompass Literature, Spiritual and Vedantic Philosophy, Cultural Studies, Film Studies, Critical Thinking, English Language Teaching (ELT), ICT in Education, and Creative Writing. Beyond formal academics, he is deeply engaged in observing human behaviour and nature, reading extensively, learning continuously, remaining well-versed in current happenings around the world, and integrating knowledge into everyday practice. He values productive interaction with people, actively engages in collaborative brainstorming in a team, and integrates knowledge into everyday practice. He maintains an active presence in academic and creative spaces through blogging, photography, occasional poetry, and scholarly presentations. His academic presentations are available on SlideShare, recorded lectures on YouTube, and both academic and non-academic writings are published on this platform. He has also actively participated in several talks and workshops organised by academic departments.
